Already in jail for charges on an unrelated breaking and entering, the Halifax County Sheriff's Office lodged more charges against Joshua “Green Bean” Green this weekend.
Green, 22, of Roanoke Rapids, was charged with felony breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and larceny of a firearm from a residence in the Victory Lane area of Roanoke Rapids.
He was served the warrant in jail and was given a $9,000 bond.
Detective J. Puhak said the charges stem from a July 21 report taken by Deputy D. Radford with assistance from Deputy G. Page.
Puhak was assigned the case and pinpointed Green as the alleged suspect.
He has a September 21 court date. Investigation continues.
