An additional charge has been filed against a Northwest Halifax coach charged last week with three counts of indecent liberties with students.

Detective Sergeant R. Rooks today of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office charged Erick Tyson Williams, 28, of the Halifax area, with disseminate obscene material to a minor.

The new charge is the result of an ongoing investigation into the original matter where Williams allegedly sent an inappropriate picture to a minor that was discovered during the initial investigation.

Williams was given a $5,000 bond and a May 2 court date.
