The City of Roanoke Rapids announced today that Lori Jones has assumed the duties of revenue/tax collector.
Jones was sworn in this morning by City Clerk Lisa Vincent swore in Jones this morning at city hall.
The Roanoke Rapids native, who joined the city in September 2009 as payroll technician, replaces Phyllis Hasty, whose retirement was effective April 30.
