Two Littleton area men face marijuana charges after they were allegedly caught speeding on Highway 903 Friday afternoon.

Detective R. Somogyi of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office was on routine patrol when he observed a vehicle in the Littleton area traveling at a high rate of speed and crossing the centerline into oncoming traffic.

Further investigation following the stop yielded the seizure of 6.5 ounces of marijuana in the vehicle.

Somogyi charged Jawaine Pulley, 22, and Keiston Boyd, 21, with felony possession of marijuana and possession with intent to sell and distribute marijuana.

They were jailed on $2,500 bond and have court dates on July 25.
