The 2319 All-Stars AAU basketball team competed in the Battle in the Boro Basketball Tournament in Greensboro last weekend.
Coach Pamela Taylor said the team, made up of players from Halifax and Northampton counties, won second place medals for the 16U age group. “These young men have been working hard on and off the court and it gives them encouragement when they know that they are being commended for what they are doing,” Taylor said.
