Evans, left, and King.
The victim reported she was pulled into a vehicle and raped, allegedly by Rashad Evans, 17, of Hollister, and Jarrell King, 18, of Enfield.
Somogyi declined to go into details but did say no weapon was involved and the victim was doing OK.
He and School Resource Officer Daniel Jones investigated the case, which led to charges of first-degree rape, first-degree sex offense and kidnapping against Evans.
King was charged with first-degree rape and kidnapping.
Evans and King were jailed on $50,000 bonds and have November 14 court dates.
Somogyi said in the press release the investigative work of the school resource officer helped bring the case to quick closure.
