Daryl Keith Shearin, a Weldon man wanted for a robbery in the Bush Court area of Roanoke Rapids, turned himself in to the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office Saturday.
Detective O.L. Wiltsie said he surrendered without incident after seeing an account about him on a news website.
In fact, he reportedly left an unpublished comment on rrspin.com defying authorities to arrest him. “Come get me p-----s,” he said in the comment.

Shearin, 29, was arrested on outstanding warrants for robbery with a dangerous weapon, larceny of a motor vehicle, assault on a female, driving while license revoked, obtaining property by false pretense and felony larceny.
Shearin was given a $72,000 bond and a court date of November 9.
