Another suspect in the October 28 Subway armed robbery was arrested last week, the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office confirmed today.
Lieutenant Bobby Martin said Roanoke Rapids police arrested Tasha Caine last week.
He did not have immediate details on her arrest.
Caine, 22, of Enfield, faces charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon and felony conspiracy in the case.
Lieutenant Bobby Martin of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said investigators continue to look for another male and female who were allegedly involved in the crime.
It appears Caine along with the still unidentified female went into the restaurant on West Tenth Street around 8:30 that night to make sure no one but employees were inside.
Devonte Blount then allegedly went in to get everyone on the floor as a still unidentified male grabbed cash. It remains unclear who beat the two employees but Martin said Hakeem Cotton allegedly covered as the crime took place.
