An Alexandria, Virginia, man died Sunday in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 95.
An initial report by Trooper W.T. Smith of the state Highway Patrol said David Boyd, 61, was traveling southbound around 1 p.m. when lost control of his vehicle and overcorrected. He again overcorrected and ran off the road when the fatal crash occurred.
The crash occurred about two-tenths of a mile north of Highway 481.
