We are heartbroken to lose our son and brother, but we know Lee is now with his Lord and Savior.

We are so grateful to the Halifax County Sheriff's Office, especially Rich Somogyi and Emerson Carroll who have handled our family with the utmost respect and care throughout this tragedy.

We want to also thank the community for their outpouring of support and affirmation of Lee's character, which has been a source of comfort to our family.

A huge thank you to those who searched for Lee on Saturday.

You all were our hands, feet and eyes when only our hearts and prayers could be there.

Thank you to the local business's for providing food to the search team. We are devastated but not destroyed, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."  Psalm 46:1
