The Weldon Police Department has arrested a woman wanted for allegedly breaking into a Washington Avenue grocery store and stealing nine packs of cigarettes.
Captain James Avens of the town’s police department confirmed Friday night that Tina Marie Webb, 50, was served warrants for breaking and entering and larceny after breaking entering.
She was allegedly caught on videotape breaking into the Weldon Supermarket. Upon entry the camera caught her heading to the cigarette display at the counter and stealing nine packs of Cherokee and Fortune cigarettes.
She has a June 12 court date.
