A woman already out on bond for October drug charges with two court dates this month was arrested again this morning on charges related to marijuana possession at the Carolina Inn.

Captain Anzell Harris of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office said Jennifer Lee Franks, 30, faces charges of possessing up to a half-ounce of marijuana and maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances.

She was jailed on $3,000 bond and has a February 25 court date for today's charges.

The sheriff's office and narcotics agents with the Roanoke Rapids Police Department arrived at the Carolina Inn shortly after 9:45 this morning with a search warrant based on citizen complaints and investigation by Harris.

Agents reportedly seized marijuana.

Franks has court dates scheduled for Wednesday as well as January 23 for other charges following her arrest in October by Agent D.R. Radford of the sheriff's office.
