The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a July 22 armed robbery at a business on Knight Road in Hollister.

Approximately $2,500 was taken from the victim during the robbery, which occurred as they came out of the business, Detective Obert Wiltsie said.

Thus far the only description of the suspect was his face was covered and he brandished a gun.
