The Roanoke Valley Chamber of Commerce has announced the entertainment lineup for its annual Ducky Derby.
The event is set for September 19 at River Falls Park in Weldon from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The rubber duck race on the Roanoke River will take place at 2:30 p.m.

Meredith Kinleigh
The emerging singer and songwriter in contemporary Christian music will be performing Christian and gospel music.
Kinleigh recently signed with INOV8 Music Group and released her debut project featuring the single Sail On in July. The single is available on iTunes.
She will be releasing a full EP on October 2.
She has lived in Roanoke Rapids for the past 11 years and has performed at minor league baseball games and with local theatrical and musical productions in the Roanoke Valley and through music ministry at Valley Community Church in Weldon
She will be part of the Every Child is Beautiful Tour October 1 through November 22, featuring Kutless, Mark Schultz, Rush of Fools, David Dunn and Natasha Owens. The tour has a November 8 stop in Roanoke Rapids.

CounterSuit
This group will be performing original rock and alternative music from their debut album The First Appeal released in April.
CounterSuit has performed at Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, as well as local venues such as Hux's Billiards and 51 Sycamore.
They are scheduled to perform with national touring artists this year including Dreamkiller and PlanetRawk.
The Tar River Band
From Butner, the group has gained popularity with audiences performing original music as well as cover songs of Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert and more.
They have been featured at the Oxford Relay for Life and Butner’s Chicken Pickin’.
The Tar River Band is set to release an EP album this fall.
New Vision
This group will perform soulful sounds of gospel music and has been together for eight years, entertaining throughout Halifax County and Virginia.
Their sound transforms old school rhythm and blues music into soulful gospel music.
Holly Moore
She will perform songs from a mixed genre of popular tunes.
She is a native of Roanoke Rapids and has supported local fundraising events throughout the years. Moore has performed at Charlotte Motor Speedway, with the NC Honors Chorus and with the American High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
Ellen Draper
Known through performances and support of community events in the Roanoke Valley and Greenville, she will perform an acoustic set of cover songs from artists that have influenced the creation of original music as well as original tunes.
Given’s Dance Studio
Dancers from the studio will perform five routines and have been a popular part of the Ducky Derby for several years.
They will be showcasing numbers from dance camp which were performed at Kings Dominion and will also be performing a few numbers from the brand new season performed by some of the members of competition teams.
Teams from Given’s Dance Studio compete all over the east coast at several different venues and have taken home numerous first-place trophies and high scores.
Tequila Sunrise Music, located in Gaston, North Carolina, will be providing sound for all performances. The company provides sound, DJ services, and equipment rentals, as well as recording with a recording studio at their Gaston location.
Several performers will be available before and after performances to speak with the audience and will have music available to purchase.
Duck adoptions are still available for a chance to win a $2,000 cash prize.
