The Roanoke Rapids Police Department reported the following, according to Chief Chuck Hasty:

Lieutenant Charles Vaught and Master Officer Roy Ball arrested Sarah Nadine Tuck, 28, of Roanoke Rapids, for breaking and entering; larceny after breaking and entering; possession of stolen goods; obtaining property by false pretense; possession of schedule I and possession of drug paraphernalia. These charges stem from a trespasser call in the 600 block of Hamilton Street reported around 1:20 p.m. Officer Scott Blythe responded to investigate.

The victim told Blythe they received a call about Tuck being around the residence.

Blythe checked the residence and discovered items were missing.

Blythe advised other cars to be on the lookout and Ball located her at a business on East Tenth Street. Ball found her to be in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.

Tuck was arrested and taken to the police department for processing.

Vaught learned Tuck sold the items at a local business for cash.

She received a $10,000 bond and October 21 court date.

Around 8 a.m., Lieutenant Perry Parks, Ball and investigators from the Greensville County Sheriff’s Office arrested Heather Darlene Hargrave, 34, on weapons charges from Virginia.

Parks received a call from Greensville County investigators they had outstanding warrants on Hargrave for the offenses.

Officers arrested her without trouble for being a fugitive from justice.

She received a $15,000 bond and is awaiting extradition to Virginia.
