A Roanoke Rapids man was arrested early this morning for possession of 96 grams of marijuana following a traffic stop for a headlight violation on Tenth Street near Oakley Avenue.

Bryan Christopher Buffaloe, 24, faces charges of felony possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana.
Halifax County Wes Tripp said in a statement the stop by Deputy D. Epperson occurred shortly after midnight.
Further investigation by Epperson and Sergeant Matt Brown led to the discovery of marijuana and a digital scale.
Buffaloe posted $1,000 bond pending a March 30 court date.
