Regency Day gave visitors to the state historic site in Halifax today a chance to fast forward to the Regency Period as it was known in Great Britain or the Federalist Period as it was known in the United States.
Throughout the site reenactors demonstrated beer-brewing and tailoring for both men and women’s clothes as well as other activities in keeping with the time, around the year 1815..
A period dance demonstration was held on the lawn of Sally-Billy House and there was an oddities and curiosity display inside the Burgess House.
