State Speaker of the House Tim Moore announced that Representative Michael Wray has been chosen to serve as vice chair of the Revenue Laws Study Committee.

Moore recently announced his appointments to special interim committees that meet during the period before the short session begins next spring. 

The Revenue Laws Study Committee determines which policies will result in an increase or decrease in North Carolina's state revenues. It determines the tax levels of individuals and corporations.

"I am grateful for the opportunity to lead the committee as vice chair," Wray said. "It is an honor to serve on this committee, and I look forward to learning more about how our taxpayer dollars can be used most efficiently."
