Christopher Dean Conner, 65, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026 in his home. 

Mr. Conner was born on March 10, 1961 in Roanoke Rapids, the son of Loretta Hansley Conner and the late Wilburt Carlton Conner, Sr. 

Mr. Conner was the owner and operator of Chris Conner Construction.

Surviving along with his mother Loretta, is his wife Frances “Fran” Jenkins Conner, his daughter Chloe Elizabeth Casey and her husband Kurt, his brothers Wilburt C. Conner, Jr., Michael “Mike” W. Conner and his wife Lynn, and Dale Gene Conner and his wife Donna, and his three grandchildren, Conner, Walker, and Paisley.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 9, 2026 in Calvary Baptist Church with Revered Andy Sloan officiating. 

The family will receive friends following the service.
