Charlie Benford Boseman, 86, died Sunday, March 28, 2021, at Vidant North Hospital in Roanoke Rapids.

Mr. Boseman was born, August 27, 1934, son to the late Major and Maggie Garner Boseman.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marjorie Newsome and his brother, Carlton Wayne Boseman.

Surviving is his wife of 65 years, Mable Spence Boseman of the home; son, Charlie L. Boseman and wife, Ann of Roanoke Rapids; daughter, Linda B. Massey and husband, Dennis of Littleton; sister, Hazel Shaw and husband Carlton, of Roanoke Rapids; grandchildren, Travis and Dallas Moseley, Colby and Corey Boseman. Also surviving is his great grandchild, Landen Moseley.

Dr. Lavelle Waters will conduct a graveside service Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at 11:00 am at Quankie Baptist Church Cemetery.
