Jimmie Randall “Dog” Berwick, 44, died unexpectedly in his home on January 1, 2022.

Dog was an electrician for over 20 years. He was known for his conduit skills, especially when dealing with the large pipe.

He had a love for all things “old” and enjoyed going on “picks” as well as visiting antique shops.  Dog was the kind of man that would help anyone. He would give you the shirt off his back.  If anyone needed help fixing their car, he was the first person they would call for help, even though he wasn’t a mechanic.  Dog also had an affinity for Ford Ranger pickups, especially model years 1993-1997.

Dog was a kind hearted man that loved his girls. Simply put, he was just a big ole teddy bear.

Survivors include his wife, April King Berwick; his daughters, Kaylee Berwick, Blaire Berwick and “Princess” Mae Jacklynn Berwick; a sister, Jennifer Medlin (Sam); brothers, Johnny Berwick (Tonya) and David Berwick; nieces and nephews, Tori Berwick, Taylor Medlin, Alaina Medlin, Bridgette Berwick, Bryson Berwick, Blake Berwick, Bryce Berwick; as well as a number of close friends.

Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Saturday at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.  At other times, the family will be at 406 Harris Street.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday in the funeral home chapel, with interment to follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.
