Mrs. Pattie Lassiter Green Johnston, 78, of Roanoke Rapids died January 5, 2022 at Vidant North Hospital.

She was born in Halifax County on April 2, 1943.  

Mrs. Johnston retired from JP Stevens.  She was a member of Valley Community Church, which she enjoyed attending.  She also loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son, Donald Fajna; daughter, Lisa Fajna; grandchildren, Bruce Collier (Brittnye), Jessica Collier, Lance Allen, Sierra Ferretti; great-grandchildren, Johne Rera, Nicholas Rera, London Parker, Aubrynn Collier, Leeson Collier, a number of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ruth Green and Jody Green; her husband, John Johnston; sister, Hilda Spence; 4 other sisters and 3 brothers.

The service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Pattie Johnston  will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Valley Community Church.
