The third meeting of the seaon between the Weldon High School Chargers and the Northwest Halifax Vikings boys basketball teams was better than the game before.

You couldn't have watched a better game even if you were sitting in the VIP box at a NBA Championship game nibbling on hot wings. Both teams put their heart, soul and talent out there tonight. And the gym was packed and the crowd was hyped.

The Vikings JV took this game which was exciting all the way through winning 66-45. Both teams had a lot of turn overs but the defense of the Vikings was able to excute under the goal better.

The girls game was really no surprise except for the home team more than triple their score from Tuesday's game. Weldon winning with the final score was 77-25.

The final contest of the evening, the one that had the old, young and in between cheering was intensified to the highest degree. Both teams seemed to have gotten in foul trouble early in the game and there were some questionable calls on both teams. If these two teams should happen to meet again then we may have to play the game at the Staple Center because it will certainly be the game to see. Congratulations to the Vikings for winning the game and Congratulations to my Chargers for playing a great game.
