As the Roanoke Rapids Police Department continues to investigate the Tuesday morning shooting death of a Chesapeake, Virginia teen, Chief Shane Guyant said today witnesses in the 200 block of Madison Street where the slaying occurred continue to be uncooperative.
A Virginia man who the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said stole two bottles of expensive alcohol from the Littleton package store crashed his vehicle after engaging a deputy in a chase Tuesday evening.
Halifax County has received $36,500 in grant funds for repairs to its animal shelter.
