The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office believes trafficking amounts of methamphetamine as well as other contraband were going to be dropped off early this morning at Roanoke River Correctional Institution in Tillery before a prison employee reported a suspicious vehicle and a person carrying a bag running on the property, according to Captain Scott Hall.
