Roanoke Rapids City Council Tuesday honored four employees who have entered into retirement.
The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office reported the following, according to Chief Deputy Scott Hall:
The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is investigating a case involving a larceny that occurred on July 27 around 8:45 p.m.
The Vidant North Hospital Development Council, formerly known as Halifax Regional Foundation, recently received a donation of $2,500 from The Ladies of the Lake Organization.
The Weldon Police Department in partnership with Weldon City Schools will be giving out school supplies on August 10 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
