A Dollar General cashier was served a warrant by the Roanoke Rapids Police Department Friday for communicating threats and a Halifax County Sheriff’s Office deputy who can be seen in a video walking out of the store during the verbal confrontation has been disciplined.
A man wanted in a June 1 murder in the Weldon area was apprehended in Prince George’s County, Maryland, according to the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office.
