The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office reported the following, according to Captain A.M. Harris:
Two men charged Tuesday morning in the largest cocaine seizure in the history of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office were remanded to federal custody and will have a detention hearing and preliminary examination at 10:30 a.m. on July 24 in Raleigh.
Michael Delinda Stansbury was ordered to remain in federal custody pending a detention hearing set for next week in Raleigh.
One man was arrested and charged today and Weldon police continue to look for another person in the July 2 shooting of a 14-year-old juvenile on Corbitt Drive.
