In calling upon the court to dismiss a lawsuit challenging the three-district school configuration in Halifax County, the attorney representing county commissioners builds part of his case using the Evergreen Solutions Report.
The introductory portion of a lawsuit challenging the three-district school configuration in Halifax County “reads more like a press release for political purposes,” than an actual legal document, the attorney representing the county commissioners wrote in a motion to dismiss the action.
The Roanoke Rapids Police Department reported the following, according to Chief Chuck Hasty:
Halifax County Superior Court for Tuesday will be held in the old district courtroom in the Historic Courthouse after water inundated the superior courtroom on Ferrell Lane.
