Charges against Prentis Crossen continue to mount.
Already charged in armed robberies in Roanoke Rapids, Weldon and Northampton County, the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office charged him Tuesday with the armed robbery of an Enfield convenience store in December.
Detective Roy Rooks charged the 18-year-old Garysburg man with robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Crossen allegedly went in the store with a small caliber handgun and demanded money from the clerk.
He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Crossen is currently in jail on $150,000 secured bond. He has an April 11 court date.
