An Enfield man was arrested today following service of search warrant on Highway 48.

Narcotics Agent A.M. Harris of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said narcotics detectives and deputies seized paraphernalia, marijuana and crack cocaine from the home of Jake Ollie Hedgepeth Jr.

Hedgepeth was charged with felony possession of cocaine, maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of marijuana.

He was jailed on $6,500 bond and has an August 1 court date.
