Vandals struck Riverfalls Park in Weldon, causing between $800 and $1,000 in damages.
The town is offering a reward, according to Captain James Avens of the Weldon Police Department.

The crime occurred sometime between 5:45 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Town employees discovered the damage upon inspection of the park.
A urinal was clogged up with toilet paper, a toilet was pulled from the drain line and a portable sign was pushed into a ditch, causing damage. Avens said a fence was also damaged.

A car at a local business near the park was also damaged when a window was broken.
