Logan’s Roadhouse should reopen no later than next Thursday a manager confirmed this morning.
“Right now we’re cleaning up and rebuilding the wall,” Mike Stettler said. “We’re anxious to get back up and running.”
Roanoke Rapids Fire Chief Gary Corbet said electrical engineers will examine equipment to determine exactly what caused a fire at the popular restaurant Tuesday morning. “We’ve pinpointed it started near the steam table and where they keep condiments chilled. It was out of the bottom of one of those tables.”
Working fire sprinklers kept the fire from being worse, Corbet said. “If it wasn’t for the sprinkler system we would have had a serious working fire with a lot more damage. Logan’s would not be opened for months now instead of in about a week.”
