Service of an outstanding warrant Friday led to the discovery of nine small marijuana plants on Reynolds Circle, according to the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office.
Narcotics Agent J. Puhak said in a press release Deputy C. Boden went the residence in the Roanoke Rapids area to serve a warrant to Kenneth Robert Christy, 26.
Once inside, Boden noticed multiple indicators of alleged criminal activity, Puhak said.
Follow-up investigation resulted in the seizure of user amounts of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and nine small plants.
Christy was arrested on the outstanding arrest order and was also charged with manufacture of schedule VI, simple possession of schedule VI and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He received a $1,500 bond and has a September 5 court date.
