Charges against Jason Wallace have been upgraded to voluntary manslaughter, court records show.
Wallace was originally charged with involuntary manslaughter in the January 13 death of Christopher Lynn Johnston. However, the voluntary manslaughter charge was brought before the grand jury on August 6.
There is no reason given for the upgrade and District Attorney Melissa Pelfrey could not be reached for immediate comment this morning.
