A party outside Roanoke Rapids was disrupted late Saturday night when Halifax County Sheriff’s Office deputies learned there was possible drug activity.
Deputies S.G. Page and C.H. Boden responded to Redwood Street around 10:30 p.m.
Chief Deputy Wes Tripp said in a press release Page arrested 28-year-old Kevin Ingram, who lives on Huckleberry Bottom Road.
The deputies allegedly seized 2.1 grams of crack, 29.7 grams of marijuana and several plastic bags.
They charged Ingram with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
It was not clear what kind of party was being held, Tripp said.
Ingram was jailed on $10,000 bond and has a November 14 court date.
