Roanoke Rapids police continue to seek the public’s help in locating a woman reported missing on Tuesday.

Thus far police have checked local motels and conducted a search of the area around Premier Landing, where Jessica Lynn Kaye was captured on surveillance cameras riding her bike away from Walmart and also inside the store.

Police are also trying to locate her husband, Wayne William Kaye, who she possibly could be with.

The police department Thursday said the family of the 27-year-old woman is concerned for her safety and made a report of her missing at approximately 11:35 a.m. Tuesday.

She was last seen heading to Walmart around 6 a.m. on a 20-inch Huffy bike.

She called around 1 p.m. to say she was still at Walmart and had not seen her husband.

Police said her husband apparently left with her four children the day before. She may now be in his company in a faded black Camaro with Texas license tags.

Kaye is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a blue, hooded jacket, Nike shoes and blue jeans. She has a fair complexion.

She was wearing a double heart pendant and has “Kaye” tattooed on her lower back.
