A Scotland Neck man was arrested Tuesday for a December breaking and entering.
Investigation by Sergeant C.E. Carroll of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office led to the arrest of Rashawn Ladon Smith, 26.
Major Scott Hall said in a statement Carroll was called to an address on Dollberry Road on December 17.
Continued investigation by the sergeant led to the execution of a search warrant at a residence on East Thirteenth Street in Scotland Neck where some of the items taken in the break-in were recovered.
Smith was charged with breaking and entering; larceny after breaking and entering; injury to personal property and possession of stolen goods.
He was jailed on $3,000 secured bond and has an April 8 court date.
