The Roanoke Rapids Police Department reported the following, according to Chief Chuck Hasty:
April 1
Around 1 p.m, Officer Adam Salmon was on routine patrol in the 1900 block of Roanoke Avenue when he saw Jermaine Lamont Boyd, 36.
Salmon had an outstanding warrant on the Roanoke Rapids man. He served the warrant and arrested him for simple possession of marijuana.
Boyd was given a $1,000 bond and May 15 court date.
Around 5:30 p.m., Officer Jeffrey Mason responded to a trespassing call at Fairfield Apartments off Highway 125.
After speaking with the victim and given the suspects names and descriptions, they were located a short distance away from the apartment complex.
Albert Lee Simmons Jr. 25, and Aaron Darrell Cooley, 23, both of Roanoke Rapids, along with Randy Rayshon Lee, 23, of Littleton, were arrested and charged for trespassing at the apartment complex.
All three were given $1,000 bonds and May 15 court dates.
Sergeant Mike Moseley and Salmon assisted.
April 2
Around 12:30 p.m., Mason responded to a larceny call at Walmart.
Mason spoke with the loss prevention officer and was told an employee, Shaquanna Amber Bacon, 20 of Roanoke Rapids, was taking money.
Mason charged her with larceny by employee.
Bacon was given a $1,000 bond and a court date of May 13.
Investigation shows Bacon took money from the register.
At 4 p.m., Mason responded back to Walmart for another employee larceny unrelated to the Bacon case.
Mason arrested Lakisha Shanell Daniels, 33, of Roanoke Rapids, with larceny by employee.
She was given a $1,000 bond and May 13 court date.
Investigation shows Daniels was ringing up refunds and taking the money.
Around 7 p,m., Officer Scott Blythe responded to Walmart for a fraud case.
Blythe spoke with loss prevention and learned Caron Makease Williams, 21, of Roanoke Rapids, had changed the price of items he bought.
Williams was charged with obtaining property by false pretense and given a $1,000 bond and April 22 court date.
Blythe continues to investigate.
April 4
Around 9 p.m., Officer Patrick Smith responded to the 1800 block of Roanoke Avenue on an assault call.
During the investigation Smith noticed injuries on both parties involved.
Smith arrested and charged Calvin Dennis Williams, 59, of Roanoke Rapids for assault on a female and Lateisha Devon Richardson, 28, for assault.
They have May 18 court dates.

April 5
Around 10:30 p.m., Officer Gerald Morris responded a call about a larceny at Walmart.
After speaking with loss prevention, Morris arrested and charged Michael Jermaine Garrett, 18, of Roanoke Rapids, with larceny and possession of stolen goods.
Garrett was given a $1,000 bond and a May 8 court date.
Garrett allegedly took items from the store without paying for them.
