The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is currently looking for Xavier Tobias Williams 25, of Roanoke Rapids.

Chief Chuck Hasty said warrants are on file for his arrest for obtaining property by false pretense, breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, larceny and possession of stolen goods.

Officer Patrick Smith began an investigation today after responding to Second Street Lunch about a breaking and entering and larceny of items from a vehicle.

Investigator Bobby Martin linked Williams to the crime.

Hasty declined to elaborate on the case.
