Muster Days got under way in Historic Halifax this morning beginning with a parade led by the Tryon Palace Fife and Drum Corps.

The event continues today through 4 p.m.

The sunday schedule is as follows:

Noon — Infantry drill and musket demonstration (British troops and militia)

12:30 p.m. — Artillery demonstration (Carolina Living History Guild)

1:00 p.m. — Chris Grimes, The Case of Michael Quinn (auditorium)

2:00 p.m. — Skirmish scenario on the green

3:00 p.m. — Artillery demonstration – end of program

All Day — Buildings open for tours; living history demonstrations in camps and around Visitors Center.
