Robbie Jones will spend 29 to 44 months in prison after taking a plea to assault with a deadly with intent to kill, his attorney said.
Gregory Perry, who represented Jones in the matter, which centered on a shooting at Creekside Court in April, said other charges filed against his client were dismissed upon his plea in Halifax County Superior Court today.
Roanoke Rapids police said at the time the matter stemmed from beef between Jones and the people he shot at on April 1.
No one was injured but several residences and a vehicle were damaged.
