The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office reported the following, according to Chief Deputy Scott Hall:
An additional death related to COVID-19 was reported by the Halifax County Health Department today.
Beginning Wednesday the Roanoke Canal Trail from the entrance at Roanoke Avenue to just before the River Road parking lot will be closed for bridge maintenance in which two structures will be taken down and replaced by culverts.
