Ada Hatchel Evans, 87, died Friday, January 14, 2011 at Autumn Care in Nashville. Mrs. Evans was born in Brodnax, VA June 18, 1923 to the late Edward Hatchel and Sallie Tanner Hatchel. She loved her family dearly and was a devoted mother and housewife and was always there when anyone was in need of help. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Evans; two sisters, Eva Royal and Eliza Sadler and one brother, Robert Hatchel.

Mr. Danny Nathan Lowe, 64, of Littleton went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 after a short illness with lung cancer at Duke University Medical Center. He was project manager of Weldon Steel, where he enjoyed his work but most of all loved the special time with all the employees. He began his career with Howell Steel where he became president of the company until its closing then he opened Piccolowes family restaurant in 1992.
