Mr. Joseph H. Gay, 93, of Jackson, North Carolina, died on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Hampton Woods Nursing Center in Jackson, NC.

A Visitation for Mr. Gay will be held from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m., with the Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Jackson, North Carolina.  The interment will take place immediately following the service in the Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Jackson, NC.

Ruth Evelyn Cullipher Boone, 92, wife of the former Rev. Daniel Clifton Boone of Halifax, NC went home to be with the Lord Friday, October 29, 2010. She was born November 6, 1917 to Herbert Asa and Lucy Nora Cullipher near Williamston in Martin County. Ruth graduated from Robersonville High School.
